As an avid hunter, he has encouraged me to stretch the scope of my cooking to include the many different "ingredients" he brings home.
I have cooked venison, duck, pheasant and even squirrel (yes, I am an awesome wife). The challenge is making them edible, and to this challenge I have been met with many failures. However, there have been some successes, which I share with you here!
